Rear lockers

So i have a 2015 tacoma trd pro which when i look it up it says they all have rear lockers but i dont have a button for it. Could mines just not have came with it or did the previous owner get rid of it.

 

If there's no locker, odds are 100:1 that you bought a SR5 (if no skewp) or TRD Sport (if skewp) with some TRD Pro stickers on it.

So i just looked up my vin on the tacoma website and its not a trd pro. Its not even a trd its the base model. The dealership that sold me the tacoma i guess lied. They told me it was a trd pro and someone took off the stickers. I got duped.. im a just put on lockers myself.thanksfor the help.

 

Base model? You mean a 5-lug?

 

Fraudulent advertising, I’d sue.

 

My 2015 TRD Sport is listed as "Base" according to Toyota or a Toyota VIN check.

 

How would i know if its a trd if toyota site is telling me otherwise?

How many lugs are on the wheels, which engine does it have, and are the fender flares and/or rear bumper color-matched to the body panels?

edit: Just checked the Toyota website and my SR5 is also listed as a "Base".

 

So its a 6 lug 4.0 and yes when i bought it the fenders color matched the truck. I went off roading and broke off 2 of the 4 flares so i just took all 4 off.

 

Also when i buy parts of Amazon and you put in your vehicle info i put my license plate number in and the state im in and it pulls up that its a trd pro. So im confused.

 

In the Toyota site I would trust. It’s gonna tell you how it was configured and built at the factory amongst other things all from the corporation that built it.

I’d trust the manufacturer over any state or Amazon database.

Color matched fenders and 6 lugs are SR5 and above. No bed outlet or diff locker so it’s not a TRD OR, sport, or pro.

 

No locker, no hood scoop, no color matching on door handles, mirrors, or grille, no bed outlet.

Id they sold that to you as a TRD pro and you have that in writing you should raise hell!
