4th Gen Tacoma OEM wheels on a 3rd Gen Tacoma

    Just wondering if anyone has installed 4th gen wheels (Taco) on a 3rd gen (taco) heard hub is different (smaller) for 2024 and lug pattern the same.

    They won't fit unless you open the center bore at a machine shop.
    4th Gen Hub = 95.1mm
    3rd Gen Hub = 106.1mm

    Anyone know if that machining has actually been attempted? I've heard this suggested a few times. Wondering if it ever has happened...

    And in would the wheel clear inside the suspension as the 4th gen wheel has a more positive offset

    And the lugs on the 4th gen are larger too so to get it centered you'd necessarily need the machining to be a perfect fit to 106.1mm too

    @hemlockz the Pro or Trailhunter offset would be your best bet. Still high though. I think the easiest way is to get a set of BORA adapters made. They would take care of the hub bore, offset and stud issue since they're custom made.
