Here is the invoice from Headstrong. I also stepped up to a 265 70 17 BFG tire. I'm thinking of going to a 275 70 17 BFG's with TRD PRO 4 runner wheels at the end of summer.

Bilstein 6112/5160, Medium Duty Dakar leaf pack 17x8 0mm, 265/70r17 Wildpeak AT3W Leer 100XR Camper Shell
Bilstein 6112s in the front (5/6 notches, 600lb. coils), 5160s in the back with the Medium Duty Dakar Leaf Pack
    - I talked to both Bilstein and OME (for the Dakars), and they pointed me in this direction based on my use for the truck in the woods and for how much weight I'd regularly have in the truck (virtually none), even with the shell
    - I got 2" of lift in the front, and 3" in the back (both before throwing on bigger tires)

I ended up getting 17x8 0mm offset Moto Metal MO970 wheels, and I threw on 265/70r17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on them
    - I really struggled with choosing a tire size between the 265/70r17 and the 285/70r17
    - I put my buddies 285s on my truck, and it looked like it would clear... I was just worried about really articulating in the woods and I didn't want to chance it, plus I get better MPGs with the 265s and get to leave the mud flaps on

I am completely ecstatic with the end result!! I fed off of all of these forums to really hone in on how I wanted to set my new Tacoma up, so thank you!

What suspension setup are you running? Looking for something similar to help handle the weight of my camper shell and gear.

Just a 2” spacer in the front and 3 leaf AAL in the back. I left the overload spring in so it would be a 2/2 lift since I have a canopy. Don’t like the a$$ sag look.

I did have to cut off the front alignment bracket from overload spring. The other option would have been to purchase the half inch spacer from Head Strong to get 2” of lift since they are 1.5” springs.

I might end up just replacing the whole leaf pack with an OME medium 2” lift pack.

Thanks! I’m likely just gonna go full medium duty leaf back replacement with a 2” lift up front.

The tech that installed the setup told me he installed the springs on the shocks with the circlet at the first position, left it overnight and it had settled a little lower, so he set them at the second position. So it should be 2” - 2.5” in the front and roughly 1” in the rear.

Man that looks good! Can’t wait to get rolling on some 265 75 r16s. I have an ice cap TRD OR with 2inch in the front, 1 inch in the rear. The small change in tire makes a huge difference!

Bilstein 5100s set on 4th setting for 1.55 inches with a 1/4 spacer for the drive side mean on the front and an Icon add a leaf with the overload left in which lifted the rear 2” with 265/70/17s. Perfect set up for me. Wanted to maintain some rake.

What is the 1/4 spacer for? Im looking at installing same lift. I bought the 5100s seperate from the coils so im trying to figure out what else i need to buy seperately to have them together.

Finaly I have my truck lifted with 265/70R17... It looks a little small, but I have all the drive-ability of the original...

I'm considering 265/70/17. Any rubbing with your tires? I'm at 1.5" lift in the front and still have the factory mudflaps.
My wheels are +30 or +15 depending on which set I'm running.
