Other soft top options?

I would like to buy a soft top, but I don’t see any acceptable options. The only models I can find are soft topper, super top 2, agricover, and fastop. Each of these products contains design flaws that I consider to be deal breakers, though I haven’t been able to look at any of them first hand, only online.

The bows for the soft topper appear to lie entirely inside the bed and actually protrude below the bed rail when deployed, interfering with any tools mounted on the side. The bows for the supertop 2 jog inward significantly into the bed and block access when stowed. The agricover is essentially a permanent install, as the frame and rails appear to not come apart without tools. Moreover, the agricover blocks access to your the window whether stowed or deployed. The fastop is installed entirely inside the bed.

There are other annoyances like the lack of mesh windows, the need to remove parts like windows and then stow them who knows where in order to stow the top, rear windows with no provision to roll up, front panels that don’t unzip to allow access to the cab rear window, etc., but I can deal with those.

So are there any well-designed options I haven’t come across?

Sounds like you need a rack and a custom tarp/cover for it.

softopper rear access sucks for one handed operation, can't get it to not leak even when i just rinse it off, never looks like it fits quite right won't stretch out in the corners and has weird sags.

I’ve noticed that in some photos of softoppers. I actually do have a hand-made top on my gen-1 tacoma and I made one for another car and I just don’t want to do another one by hand. The ones on the market are so close, but not quite there.
