Flex pipe torn to shreds, can I replace this cheaply?

AC drain pipe extension, removed faded/cracked paint protection stickers, CD Player AUX tap in, cut rear storage shelf, removed side Tacoma letters, hose clamped rear bumper security.
My flex pipe is torn wide open and my 2007 6MT taco sounds awful, no CEL and I would like to fix this in the most cost effective longest lasting manner possible. The cost of the "front Pipe" on the local toyota parts sites scares me (around $950) what gives there?

Looks like a few drops of some oil? Escaping near the welds? So it has been replaced before I take it?

I have a mig welder and sawzall and see advanced auto has some 2 an 1/4" inch flex pipes for around $30-40

    Would this one work?

    Thank you.

I have a 4 cylinder, so nothing to directly compare to, but what you show doesn't look factory to me with the way it steps down and the sloppy weld. I'm not saying the welds are bad, but it doesn't look like an OE part from here. Maybe an exhaust shop has already replaced the OE one? Again, I don't know...

I don't know if the above Advance part is the proper length or diameter, but this is a fairly common problem, and that's the cheap way to fix it, which is done all the time.

Just go down to your local muffler place and they will get it replaced quickly
    No chain shops
    The kinda sketchy looking ones

And bring cash. If you're at the right place, that'll be worth a decent discount
