Morning in Butte Valley, Death Valley National Park - just north of the Geologists Cabin. My DCLB with an iKamper RTT, one buddy's 90s Toyota pickup with a Super Pacific wedge, and the other with an import from Japan right hand drive Toyota.

That was on Tripoli Road, closed now for the winter but it's one of the few dispersed camping roads in NH. Not a ton of good truck/car sites but there's a good handful if you get there early enough before they're taken. Most sites you park along the road and walk off a little bit to set up a tent or whatever, it can get busy but is easily accessible and close to some trailheads!

I've heard the same haha but never experienced anything first hand besides a lot of people driving up and down since the road isn't only used for camping. Maybe its busier in the summer, I usually go in the fall
