Strange noise after start up

Hey fellas. So I had the steering rack replaced on my 09 taco. Now, on the first start of the day. About 1 1/2 minutes after I start it. There is what sounds like thin metal to metal rubbing/grinding. Then the noise stops after 20 to 30 seconds. Doesn't do it again till next day start. WTF? Anyone got any thoughts??

Thanks. I was kinda thinking in that direction. It is kinda heat shieldish sounding. One of those hard to discribe noises. I'll keep ya'll posted...

 

Well after reading a bunch of other folks dealing with this. I decided to take the truck back to the repair shop. I gave them all my info on what and when it's doing it. Now we wait and see. I'm thinking air in the system. Or at worst. The new steering rack is a bad part. I'll let y'all know.
