If you plan on adding a bumper soon I would leave it. Then take a look at angles and adjust if needed after bumper is installed

Pics are after Dobinson’s MMR lift/C59-352 springs and some time to settle. Opinions? Thinking of lowering an inch, if within allowed spec, for purposes of better CV angle (needed?), gaining a little down travel, and softening ride (rebound seems a bit harsh even with adjuster maxed). I was sitting a little bit lower with my previous Bilstein lift.

That's definitely more angle than I would want to have. Not only it is hard on CV boots (the inners especially), but the steering rack too. I'd say drop it down 1, maybe 1½ inches?

    What do you guys think
    Gen3 - Billy 6112 set at 6/6 with a 1/4” spacer for taco lean.

I’m on the fence about the inners.

Are your boot fins (pleats, bellows, whatever you want to call them) touching? (looks like they may be on your pass. side), if so, then yes... Too high.
(you might be able to slide the inner boot out a little to spread the fins out further, but that still won't solve problems elsewhere with too much lift (steering rack wear, ride degraded from too little downtravel).

IMO, a good rule of thumb might be to have the wheel hub (outer CV) centerline be no more than 2" below the axle housing (inner CV) centerline.

Thank you for taking the time to write all that up.

I just finished up dropping the passenger side down 1 notch. Even with the driver side spacer, passenger measure 1/2” taller ground to fender.

So now I’m on a 6/4 notch lever with a 1/4” driver side spacer and am measuring 38” ground to fender on both driver and passenger.

While I had the skid off, I dropped the diff a tiny bit. Addrd about 1/4” of washers. With the skid on, it appears that I can afford more drop before the diff contacts the bottom of the skid. I may try to add another 1/4” of drop. (This time properly with aluminum spacers).

didn’t wanna do the full inch that kits offer, and definitely am not ok with loosing ground clearance.
