Yeah, not really happy about that but it is what it is. Washer is 6 years old now.

It was working fine, just making a knocking noise when it spun out. Only did it on the spin. Machine didn’t walk or anything like an out of balance load would do. He replaced the balance ring at the top of the inner tub and a bushing ring under the drum in what they call the milk stool. That’s the assembly that holds the outer tub up. No knocking now. Repair guy said if it starts to do it again call him and he will replace all the springs and some other parts.

I’ll be doing a load of towels tomorrow so we will see what happens.

    killjoy answer:
to keep the horses from standing in the stream?

being a cityboy masquerading as a cleancut redneck, i don't know a ton about horses, but the times i have dealt with them, they're never happy just standing on the bank to drink, and insist on a 'full body' experience instead most times.

so i can understand if the guy wants to not need to clean mud off the horses as often.

to be fair, if i posted a picture of my garage, basement, or work toolbox, you're not terribly far off for guys either... but we tend to just call it 'on the spectrum', or 'ADD' or 'ADHD'... i just call it 'far too many ideas in my head that i need to get out'.

the shop foreman switched a bunch of us around to different bays to try to smooth out the workflow in the shop, i ended up next to a clean-freak, and i'm generally, well, not. his tongue has already been bleeding a few times :)

    they call it snow!

my area got hit really hard as well. they were calling for a light dusting, we got somewhere near what would've been 8-10" if it wasn't melting almost at the rate it was coming down!

i'm still hoping for another 'snowfall of the century' storm. the kind that would strand me at home for a few days with travel bans and feet of snow.

I'm sure I've asked before, but is it a TR7? I still think Speed Queen makes the best washers. :washing:

The fun started last night about 11, the power went off... :(

Came back on this morning at 5:15, Mrs Green had to get ready for work by flashlight.

I see bits-o-tree all around. The new fiber optic cable (that I'm not connected to) is hanging so low I could reach up and touch it. (I didn't )

The smaller bush thing in the foreground is the grape arbor.

I don't remember that tree leaning like that yesterday.
