Low Beam Headlight complaint

Are these available at Dealerships?

 

Lots of dealerships. Now is the time to look for those Black Friday deals. Oem led are usually about $1200. The trd-pro versions have the words but are also black and not chromed, not that it matters much it’s a headlight. Although, I would buy the pro models if I did it again.

 

Someone will chime in with the part numbers…

 

To add OEM LEDs to SR/Sport/SR5 @Puppypunter makes a harness, for TRD OR @daveeasa makes the harness.

 

I have these too, and they are awesome. The LED DRLs/Turn signals that are incorporated are awesome too. But they do still have the cutoff. And kind of a weird one at that.

 

Here’s a short discussion about the Ultimate Headlight upgrade. Almost 5,400 comments at this point, I’m surprised this link wasn’t already posted. LEDs are awesome, but pricey, and there are alternatives.

 

Op has a third gen, that mod is for second gens.
The third gen equivalent has been posted here I’m sure. It’s H9s in place of h11s

Park truck on flat ground facing wall, or garage door, raise the low beams incrementally, until you are happy how far down the road the low beams shine. Start with raising them an inch or so. There is a height adjustment you access from the top of the headlamp. Ski

 

Wrong way to do it. There is an actual measurement where the cut off is supposed to be, not "until you are happy". You probabaly raised your truck and never adjusted the headlights down to keep them legal either.
