Im wondering if anyone has the part numbers for the trd off road coils that come on the bilstein 4600 struts as part of the trd off road package offered on the 2nd gen tacomas.

Ive tried finding these using the vin cross reference and specific part methods but i cant find a part description thats specific to the trd off road trim level.

The part #s change depending on the year (I don't know what the difference is). But these are for an '05:

Hi all. I'm trying to buy a replacement coil, PN# 48131-AD221 (dealership confirmed for me this is the correct part for my VIN), but it looks like that part number is discontinued. Anyone know what the replacement part number is? 2009 V6 4.0 with tow package. What site do you recommend to purchase these from? Thanks!

You're talking a 15yr old spring... FWIW, I was wanting to put TRD Sport coils under my '10 OR model but I'm either looking to salvage yards or aftermarket due to age. Possible to post in the Wanted to Buy thread and try that way though.

Ok, I'm eating my words. You're right, 48131-AD221 (passenger side spring) is very much discontinued. I have gone to Napa, AutoZone, and O'Rileys....they don't even carry replacement springs either. ToyotaPartOnline and several dealers confirmed there is no way I can get that spring anymore.

Anyone have any ideas on where I could find replacement springs? I was hoping to stick with Toyota genuine parts, but I'll take aftermarket at this point as long as it's an OEM replacement (I don't want to lower or raise my ride height, just keep it as it stock). MoogParts.com does not make a replacement for 48131-AD221. Not sure where else to try at this point.

Toyota does still sell the driver side spring, 48131-AD231, but my understanding is that these coil springs are side specific.

Worst case I will just reuse my existing springs, but hate that since I'm already in there replacing the struts. Figured might as well replace the springs since I'm in there already.

I would suggest using 3rd generation off-road coil packs. Installing these springs will result in less body roll and what I did on my 2015.

Anyone ever figure out a replacement coil spring for 2nd gen 48131-AD220 and 48131-AD221 both are discontinued? or something compatible. I want to replace my 5100s and coils, but want the same height. I would buy OMEs but don't know which one would be the same weight and height.
