Upgrades needed to fit 285s

I have a 2023 TRD Sport and was wondering what mods would be required to fit 285/70/17 tires. I've seen various different answers to different posts and wanted to get a better understanding.

 

There are so many different answers because there are so many different variables (rim width, offset, alignment, etc) that can make each truck a little different. The better question is what you are willing to do to make them fit? Cutting, tubbing, removing mud flaps, cab mount chop? If you're willing to do what it takes then just send it, throw on the tires you want, and start figuring out what rubs and how to make it not rub anymore.

Any size tire will fit. They all self clearance.
