Thought I’d post for others if anyone was wondering about whether it fits… it’s not sexy but does the intended job!

Looks ok, how does it line up with the gate?

FYI this is not the case for the short bed - it hangs about an inch over and the rear of the wheel wells don't line up either. i kept mine but didn't realize i would have to trim to make it fit, so ended up giving it away on facebook.

i have the spray-on liner anyway, so i'll probably forego the mat unless things sliding around the bed becomes a big issue.

You have spray on liner in a composite bed?

yes, it is a port option. i didn't specifically want it, but the allocation i found had it. i actually like it quite a bit - it adds some grippiness that, as i implied above, may negate my need for the mat.

    SEToyota or Gulf States?

While both known to pile on 'port options', I'm not sure I've read about this one here before.

it's a legit toyota port option, not like a dealer add-on. you can see it on the build tool on toyota.com:

Understand it's a port option, not a dealer thing.

Which is why I asked if it was a SET or Gulf States purchase. The two areas well known for adding stuff just because they can.

More curiosity than anything. Regardless, glad you like it.

Technically 3rd gen never had new part numbers for a bed mat. We were using 2nd gen mats. Notice the TACOMA font.
