Thought I would share some picks of camping in Northern MN this summer. Me and my son stayed at Scenic State Park, and took a day trip to the offroad park around Gilbert. Nothing too crazy, but a damn good trip.

    Sounds like a great time!

    How was the park?

I've never been to a dedicated offroading area, primarily just gnarly forest service roads but I relocated to Duluth somewhat recently so I'm intrigued.

Here's a few random pics from the summer of camping around Duluth

It was so much fun. Northern MN is such a beautiful place. The park was a really great experience and I'm right there with you, other than field trails in ND I haven't had any real off-road experience. The park was really awesome, the beginner trails were just challenging enough to be fun and make you feel like you were doing something, and it was cool seeing some of the challenging trails that other people try. We got there kind of late in the day so there wasn't really anyone in the park. I could see it being a bit stressful if there was, with more care required for other riders. If you get a chance to check it out it's worth it.
