I was actually choosing from multiple options and ended up with WheelSkins because of the ease of installation.

Knowing and seeing those better looking ones out there sure made me hesitate on getting the WheelSkins. The only two things I don't like about the WheelSkins are the fit (at least for mine) and the appearance. Other than those two, everything else feels amazing (at least for the first few days of using it).

If I had to replace the cover again, I think I'd still go with WheelSkins for ease of installation. I just hope Troy and I can work on getting the fitment 100% accurate on the next one.

My Wheelskin cover has been on my Tacoma for about 5 years. It just keeps getting better with age. Quality top grain leather.

Oh wow. That sounds promising! Do you coat it with anything at all every once in a while?

No coating of any kind, ever. It rarely needs cleaning, and when it does I use a blue shop paper towel dampened with tap water.

I took these photos this morning, of the Wheelskin cover that has been on my Tacoma for about five years. IMG_4060.jpg IMG_4064.jpg

Here’s the part label, indicating a special order for the Tacoma:IMG_4065.jpg

Oh damn. This looks exactly like mine, just 5 years older! I hope my Tacoma will last at least another 5 years to experience that glory. Haha! I appreciate the photos! Thank you.

    You’re welcome.
My cover actually looks better now than when it was new. The natural oils from your hands help develop a beautiful patina.

The Wheelskin looks like a cover, which is what it is. It’s not meant to look like a OEM leather steering wheel. Steering wheel covers have their own type of coolness.
    Embrace the look.

I think I'm on my way to fully embracing it. It's been a week and I'm still excited about it every time I get in the Tacoma.
