washed it. Now on the fence about replacing the side-steps with some that are flat and normal all the way out. Would really help with washing the roof lol

Yep, I went in almost blind - but I did pick up on that tip. Stopping for the night and coming back fresh that evening helped, but popping the driver's side diff mount bolt out made the final removal a piece of cake. I should have just done that from the beginning but that thing was on there, had to double up my (admittedly short) cheaters on the breaker bar to get it started; my impact didn't have enough beans. Was worried it was crossed but they may have had the red threadlock on them? Looked fine once it was out. May replace that one anyway just to be safe, most fasteners on these really aren't too expensive for dealer parts. I have the luxury of a second vehicle so I can take my time while UPS does their thing..hopefully there's a black friday sale around the corner too.

I helped my buddy do this on his FJ and all of that sounds about right. It's been a few years. I'd buy new bolts as well if you have the cash and time to wait. Would make me feel better about it at least lol.

I would want covers but I fear they may reduce output versus just getting the pod in the color you want from the start.

I got my cali raised ones for a steal, and I wouldn't mind switching back and forth depending on weather. Ideally, switch back ones would be nice to where I could go with either yellow or white depending on conditions. They're just a pretty penny and I have other priorities

Great. Surprisingly no one has ever taken them. Never had one fall off either.

makes a decent amber color too.

In-dash CB. Been wanting to move it here for a long time. Uniden bear at 880. Great radio with all the bells and whistles if anyone is looking.

Had a sketchy time swapping my spare over after getting a nail in my tire on a gravel road. Good thing I was at my parents' so we had an excess of wood blocks lying around.
Turns out the undercoating I've had done made the jack points extra slippery!

In and wired to the ignition. Really excited to get the space under the AC controls back probably make a wireless charging pad that fits into the cubby beyond the cup holders, where the radio used to be.

    A 2014 you shouldn’t need any additives.

And having the additive doesn’t hurt anything if that’s TacoNight14’s next question

LOL you can say that again. After rasslin' a new set of cats and O2 sensors on today I was balancing my "just Krown'd" Also-2nd-Gen Forester's skid plate like a serving tray as I usually do for R&I...when it slipped off my hand, almost hit me in the neck, subsequently causing me to kick my leg up a little and then stomped perfectly on the corner of the plastic tray with the bolts, flinging them all down the driveway. The string of profane words that came out of me was pretty choice, I'll admit.
