When I bought my truck in 2020, it already had a K&N CAI setup that I left in there. I'd like to go back to a stock configuration or at least something comparable. I can order a brand-new OEM setup for about $400-$500 but I was curious if there are any others that may work better. For example, here (https://urdusa.com/afe-54-82342-stage-2si-pro5r-2012-tacoma-v6/) is an aftermarket tube and box that looks like it might function much like the stock one. Also, the air pump was relocated to beside the radiator so I'm not sure if it can stay in this location or if I have to move it back to its factory location also. Can anyone help me with this?

I have an OEM intake if you’re interested. Pretty sure I even have a brand new filter for it too.

Black bessle L.E.D headlights, black bessle signal lights, smoked rear tail lights. Complete L.E.D swap. A.F.E exhaust. New carpet, headliner and rear jump seats. Sound system. Shark fin antena. Tint.
Back to O.E.M air intake but with k&N air filter, deck plate mod, removed long inner fender snorkel, (kept fender intake elbow) revoved both bulky air resonators. Added C.A.I funnel so truck gets cold air directly from the front-(when in street use only ofcoarse)

    It works very well!

I pull out the silver intake hose when it rains or off roading and replace the deck plate cap back onto the intake box.

Throaty sound is still there just not as loud as a k&N C.A.I which im okay with, but like I said this set up works very well. I'm happy with result.
I think this set up is best so engine won't suck in hot air from under the hood.

No dyno sheet but I guarantee that this is way better than having the original long inner fender snorkel, thick paper filter and the two bulky resonators.

    Cheers.

That's a cool setup! I'm just going back to a factory setup for now. What I have now just pulls hot air from the engine bay, plus I think it's better to have the MAF closer to its stock location.

I have the complete OEM setup from my 2015 (4.0 liter).

If @TegoTaco does not have what you need, let me know.

Is that a dryer hose? I would at least go with something metal for longevity sake. I feel like that things going to turn into swiss cheese.

Any benefit to returning the secondary air pump to its factory location, or should I just leave it where it is? The only reason I'm considering moving it back is to free up some space to access the headlight bulb and harness.

Lol. No doubt. I don't like that shiny hose either. Its temporary. My local exhaust shop is going to fab an aluminum tube for me.
