Hey all, so I just got aftermarket led fog lamps with built-in DRL and Directionals for my 09 base taco, I removed the plastic fog insert blanks from the bumper and found factory wiring harnesses taped up for fog lamp power, I bought a fog lamp relay and an OEM style switch, does anyone know if there is a harness or connector hidden under the dash for the switch? I feel like if theres power wires tucked away for the fogs then there should also be wires under the dash for a switch. I looked under the dash but couldn’t see anything blatantly obvious. If I have to run wires to the relay from the new switch then so be it but I feel like they should already be there, seeing how there’s a spot In the fuse block for the relay, there’s got to be wires connected to it. The switch I bought came with an 4 wire pigtail/connector. Anyone else dealt with this?

So I just figured it out, used the paperclip trick to pull out the farthest left blank insert and found the 4 prong connector sitting there, just plug and play from there, all I need to do now is tap into the DRL and Directional circuits and I’m g2g

There's no such thing as DRL "circuit". If your base taco didn't have it OEM, you're going to have to add it and the 2nd Gen uses the turn signal as DRL also.
