    Howdy all,

As much as I enjoy this truck I think I am looking for something larger.

I am asking $24,000. I still owe a bit on the truck, and would prefer to sell in WA.

I think I am the 3rd owner. I purchased the truck at around 68K, about 2 years ago. Since then I have been very active with maintenance. All fluids, spark plugs, regular filters, oil changes every 5k. A transmission drain and fill was also done at around 75K. Additionally, I have fluid filmed it before both winters (incl this one). Before each fluid film, I inspected the frame, wire wheeled any rust, which are confined to welds, and then did a 3 step por-15. Underside photos coming.

I like to think I have done tasteful modifications that enhance the truck, but do not ruin it's drivability. I thought I should at least post here so maybe someone who will appreciate some of the modifications could enjoy it as opposed to a trade in, where the next guy isn't gonna know what's been done.

Here's a breakdown of some of the deviations from stock.

    - OTT Medium Tune, probably for the last 20K
    - Cam Gears, installed by me, for the last 15K
    - SR5 4Runner wheels - 17"
    - Nokian NAT 255/75R17 in P-rating.
    - Bilstein 5100s wtih 884 Springs on 0 setting, with OME UCAs up front.
    - ECGS Clamshell bushing upgraded too
    - Truck has new front hubs, when I was chasing a sound. Turned out to not be the hubs but these were done at 70K.
    - AAL in rear with small block, the 5100s extended travel in rear. Overload spring is out.
    - Snugtop as seen. Crossbar tracks on top, locking rear window. Can be locked with you inside and still able to get out.
    - Upgraded Temperature sensor and rear view mirror
    - Noico in all doors, roof, and behind rear seats.
    - Second Skin Luxury Liner in doors, and behind rear seats
    - Foil faced Jute in roof above headliner
    - Aftermarket Rockford Fosgate speakers, they sound much better than stock.
    - Diode Dynamics Foglights
    - Clazzio Seat Covers front and rear, Grey Leather. Seat warmers installed both sides in the front and wired via ad a fuse with relay to ign.
    - Lowering Bracket for front license plate with bumper plugs
    - Seat Jackers both sides, on front and rear mounts.
    - UNI Filter mod on SAIP
    - Bed stiffeners
    - RCI Transmission Skid with Cat-Guards
    - I'm probably forgetting things and will ad as I remember.

Mechanical issues: None currently. Battery is original I think but still cranks. The A/C was rebuilt with new pump, belt, and relay, the summer before last.

Cosmetic issues: There is a dent in the rear bumper that was there when I bought the truck. The tailgate looks like a repaint, and there is a dent that my former mechanic put in the passenger side bed that should pop with PDR easiliy. There are various nicks and scratches around the truck, from being used like a truck. It's not the most pristine 2nd gen, but the blue still looks really good.

    Howdy!

I am looking to make a slight upgrade from my '05 access cab so your truck has me intrigued.

I'm curious if you know much about where the truck lived with its previous owners? That undercarriage looks pretty dang clean.

Also, I'm curious if you could share any pictures of the tailgate since you mention it likely being a repaint.

    Thanks in advance!

Hey! I sold this truck this weekend. The truck lived in Nanaimo most of its life. It was pretty clean, but not west coast clean if we are being extremely picky.

Sorry we couldnt' work something out and good luck finding one!

    Thanks for the update!
I hope you end up scoring the bigger truck of your dreams.
