Awesome build! Do you know what the wheeling is like out in Hawaii? Hope the shipping process goes smoothly!

Appreciate it! It's mostly river rock, wet/slick/muddy forest trails, and lava rocks. I'm actually originally from Hawaii so it's where it all started for me. My truck tracking yesterday showed it arrived and now after checking again this morning it's saying its still in San Diego :frusty:

Messed around with the forklift at my shop today. Was able to get the rear 31" off the ground, on flat ground before the other rear tire started to lift. Kind of surprised the front stayed planted throught the travel of the rear.

So for leafs what did you get? Ive been thinking I needed 89-99 leafs but it looks like you can also use 00-~10 ish leafs that will probably be easier to find in decent shape.

For bushing for those did you go poly or rubber? I am thinking rubber.

Then do you have any issues with rubbing your shocks with tires? I cant find anyone who actually lists all the pertinent details (offset, tire size, and shock mount type).

Can't remember exactly what year they're from but you can use anything from 88 onward so long as it's a 1/2 or 3/4 ton chevy/gmc truck. I also have a set from a 2014 1500 when these current ones go bad.

For bushings I used this kit from energy suspension
    https://www.amazon.com/Energy-Suspension-3-2141G-Spring-Chevy/dp/B00165ZXZ0?crid=2AHXI9OQ5ILPJ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.mf3j9bOkGfUCYgAO61hz80bJJuYj3Qo0xCzdqHtY-KAQC3Gn6wvOQkEJu1Js1Zc4UK6vWDyrM4mqXfGyH_AtTRbqdDAn2pZ-fxRpnhvZaC6fvxMUAf1XhofaDCFTbLVBoy7fhylM7ub6qiXBi2z9dT26g4yzYhaczpTMHEmJsAa5oeYX2zXURc9hZiFRX_q_z0GqUeYDh0Oy1z4a13DeqQ._NbRfil7jAs2BoT894UDe5Vp3CDdudRiaNHQj1kSDLY&dib_tag=se&keywords=Energy+Suspension+3.2141G+Rear+Leaf+Spring+Set+for+Chevy&qid=1732555766&sprefix=energy+suspension+3.2141g+rear+leaf+spring+set+for+chevy%2Caps%2C285&sr=8-1

No issues with rubbing my shocks. My current wheel specs are 17x9 -38 wrapped with 37's. I went with the shock relocation from Archive Garage. They list reccomended wheels specs to avoid rubbing the shock body. I'm also running 1.5" wheel spacers in the rear.

I'm on the fence about Going +2 and rear shock relocate in the rear. Was it worth the time and money to go beyond Mid travel? I currently have UCAs, kings, and icon RXT with 37 inch KO2s waiting to go on. I'm mainly just worried ill spend a ton of money and it won't be all I imagined it would be.

In all honesty I could've stayed mid travel and been happy. I'm planning on downsizing back to 35's as I don't wheel as much as I used to. The truck is my daily again and these 37's are putting some wear on ol girl.

Thanks, I think that’s what I’ve been telling myself. But I needed to hear from someone who’s actually done it.

I spent a ton of money, and then went backwards too. 35s to 33s. I have bypassed mid travel, and i just drive 20 min to work 2x per week :( Its so sad. I struggle to do 5k miles in a year. My truck is fully built. Im just maintaining the ol girl now. Need her to last forever.

Haven’t gone backwards.. yet.. but I’m definitely settling on getting more basic mods rather than doing my dream build.
