    What is the antenna bolt thread size for our trucks?

    Looking for an answer like M6X1.0 ... something like that.

    I bought a 3" stubby antenna and the kit bolts don't go deep enough. If I have to weld something together, I swear...

    Dang, there are usually several adapters with a new antenna that fix that for ya.

    Yeah, he said they are not deep enough.
    He may actually have the right diameter and pitch. But the threads are not long enough to engage any threads in the fender.

    I confirmed at Home Depot that the stock antenna threads are M5X0.8, so thank you TnShooter. The antenna threads are 19 mm long and the aftermarket antenna uses 13 mm of M6X1.0.

    My solution:
    $7 PATIKIL M5x15mm to M6x15mm Double End Threaded Stud Screw Bolt, 10 Pack 304 Stainless Steel Rod Bolts Thread Reducer Adapter for Furniture Fastener, Hardware Connectors

    It's 30 mm long. I did math and it should be long enough. Had to use my girlfriend's prime membership.
