My new smoker doesn’t like cold or wind. Gonna wrap it in a felt welding blanket and put this around it. You’re not a hoarder if you can’t find a use for it later! (Door from previous smoker, which was replaced under warranty)

I reused some interior door hinges I had laying around

 

I always cook stuffing separate, never in the bird. I've read/heard about risks of salmonella poisoning if cooked inside a Turkey.

I'm not stuffing anymore boxes with prizes until I start seeing deer; in fact, tomorrow I may not even bother dressing since Im so frustrated.

You can use some of the hard insulation on the outside of that too for an additional thermal barrier - ya know the pink Styrofoam kind

While y'all were debating the semantics of holiday foods I was actually doing some (not much) work.

Quieted this thumper down a bit. The engine is a Kohler K Series.




The main compressor is only 2-3 HP and from 1960 so I try not to over work it running the blast cabinet, with this gas power job you can blast as long as your back can take it.



This was the previous muffler -- man alive was it loud .



I open the overhead door when it is running BTW.

It would be both fitting & peaceful to pass here in the garage -- I do want to put it off for a bit though.

 

Maybe you can knock the stuffing out of a deer and get to field dressing it.

Hopefully you put some dressing on yourself or I’ll be losing my stuffing I had for supper
