2013 audio thumb drive issues

I typically use a thumb drive to listen to music. Recently it has taken to not recognizing the drive after the end of a song. Have to remove the drive and reinsert it and then turn it on. It usually plays for a while brfore repeating the problem but always repeats. I have sprayed contact cleaner both on the drive and also into the receptacle. No apparent result. This problem started rarely but has progressed to frequently. Ive tried various thumb drives but get same issue. Any comments or suggestions? Tia
