Hey gang. My pops wants a backup camera for Xmas for his 2007 Taco. Its currently got the radio without the screen. I'm wondering which Toyota screens will be easy to install myself with an aftermarket backup camera tail gate handle combo.
I've been searching local listings online for used Toyota touch screens and they're real proud of em, because I figured they'd be much cheaper. So I don't want to pay $200+ for one unless I know I can make it work. At these prices, personally I'd go aftermarket screen, but my pops is old and OEM would be best for him, if possible.

    Thanks for any input!

The units with screens had a lot of extra connections needed to operate, and those connections aren’t there in his truck. And you’d need a factory backup camera which will be very hard to install.
