Thanks @3JOH22A i went to Canadian tire for Christmas lights and left with Christmas lights and a battery. Heads up that some Canadian tires still have them at regular price on that battery and have they have to change it to $219/ honour the website price.

Explaining a video poorly: Jeep dude sells 80-series Land Cruiser to fund portals for his Tacoma with an Imperial Japanese Army flag on the hood...

i am a fan of this guys youtube channel and know the history and i would say thats a pretty decent summary (except not sure about Jeep dude... hes got alot more LandRover/Toyota/Lexus/Zuk content last couple years than Jeep).

for the record i did call him out on the rising sun like alot of others did (to no effect of course).

Anybody know of an A/C bypass kit, or a serpentine belt that’ll work to bypass A/C on the 1-GFE 4.0L? 2008 FJ if it makes any difference.

Showing $367 for me. Wouldn't mind picking one up if I could grab one at $220.

Two P/Ns listed. You may be able to find them locally as well:
    https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...nditioning,a/c+compressor+bypass+pulley,10329

    https://partsavatar.ca/skp-air-conditioning-by-pass-pulley-sk34257?part_number=SK34257

Personally I wouldn't drive a vehicle without A/C, due to the high humidity level in Ontario, but whatever.

It does still make me feel good about their product though…they believe it’ll last longer than the average engine

Whereabouts are you? I changed the preferred store on the CT website from Toronto east end to Bradford to Richmond Hill, they all show $219.

Nice. Bench test before you do anything . That's a good deal.

It was the Wasaga Beach store still showing the higher price. Changed stores and now I've got the lower price. Thanks!

Had one of those that I sold to a buddy. Never failed me. Not sure if you can switch to synthetic line (why I got rid of mine) without changing the drum. Checked the part numbers a while ago and synthetic line drum was different then steel cable drum.

^I usually go to Bolts Plus. There are two of their stores about 5km from my office.

Boltsplus.ca now shows stock status at each store, which is a nice improvement.

Just beware they have a wide selection of Milwaukee and DeWalt products in-store, so wear blinders when walking in.
