Changed the oil for the first time on my tacoma since buying it earlier this month. Wish I had some heads-up that hot 0w20 would splash everywhere when it hit the drain pain :D

Not as we know it today, but the word "jeep" already existed in military parlance. It dates back as far as WWI and described an unproven human recruit or an unproven new vehicle. There is evidence it was used this way in the build-up of forces prior to the war and the conception of the 1/4-ton jeep.

Interesting article! I remember the Popeye and GP references.

Turns out there was a four-wheel drive truck in WW-1, made by the… Four Wheel Drive Auto Company. The FWD Model B. It could also be run in front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive only, in case a drive axle got damaged. (Soft tops are -so- last century.) From our friends at Wiki:

They made Jeeps into everything in WWII ... mounted machine guns, made then into ambulances, put pontoons on them to make boats, put anti-tank guns, ...

Damn ... I wrote that in TW with all of the bunglebrains who had too many ideas already!

In the past month, installed a used RSI Smartcap, used Freespirit Tent, Prinsu Cab Rack, Grill with Light Bar, and yesterday a new set of BFG KO3 Tires in 285/70R17 since I didn't get around to finding someone to do the CMC.

So this is embarrassing. I was waiting in the parking lot while my wife was making a return/exchange at bed bath and beyond and noticed this button on my 2018 Tacoma that I didn't notice until now. Yes, nearly 7 yrs later!! Lol!! my son was sitting in the back seat and couldn't believe I never noticed it.PXL_20241127_175651016~2.jpg

It's not in the owners manual on the 2018 model. I mean, we all know what the Zombie Lights are forPXL_20241127_175721186~2.jpg

So riddle me this, what is the purpose of releasing 3 snakes from this secret compartment gonna do to zombies? Asking for a friend.PXL_20241127_175651016~3.jpg
Oh well, if only there was a way to defrost these side mirrors without having to roll down the windows and wipe them.

I use that feature for about 5 minutes before shutting it off...I'm paranoid about overheating it.

Same is true for the charging unit in the center console...no more than 30 minutes at a time has kept the platform flat.

Careful, that button releases all the flatulence from the seats.
