^Do you mean for the 4-cyl, because the V6 has the exhaust manifold cast into the head?

this thread is going to go toxic really fast. because all the 'know-it-alls' already know, which makes you not knowing entirely unacceptable and worthy of public castration.

unfortunately, the v6's on these trucks don't have headers. the exhaust is entirely cast into the block with only an opening on each side in the rear to reach the first catalytic converters. it's part of the EPA cycle changes to try to heat up the block faster and reach running temperature as fast as possible.

your options for different tones really comes down to various 'cat back' exhaust systems unfortunately.

there that's the fasts, now you'll want to stop watching this thread, as it will get miserable really fast over the holiday weekend with all the gremlins off work and nothing to do.

Agreed, except I reserve the right to mock someone for installing aftermarket exhaust on a taco for a different “tone”. lol

No offense intended towards the OP since the OP did not mention a goal.

Maybe you are thinking down pipes? If so AFE makes some with high flow cats buy for the price I could buy a couple bottles of good bourbon and get more enjoyment out of it.

Thank you for stating this. While I do enjoy some good humor, some of the thread derailments on here lately have been a bit harsh. Enjoy your holiday brother.
