Hi all. I noticed a liquid near my engine air filter clips and do not know exactly where it came from. Should I look into this?
    Thanks!

The whiteish dry residue almost looks like dried coolant.

Don’t know what it is but yes any time you see a possible leak around the engine area is time for concern until you know what it is.
Clean the area as best you can then check frequently for any fresh fluid. Absolutely have to determine what it is and where it’s coming from.

Only guessing here because I have no experience with your year truck. Is the oil inside the air filter box? I suppose it is possible excessive oil is getting through the PCV (positive crankcase vent system), or maybe excessive oil bypassing piston rings or valve seals. I also guess one of the electrical / computer sensors is melting and oil is leaking out. Is the brake master cylinder any where close?

The brake master cylinder is on the driver side. This is happening on passenger side of engine
