While looking for a nice leather steering wheel cover I stumbled across this:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CW5ZPXRC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Should be in tomorrow I’ll post up some pictures if it’s worthy, and you can’t beat the Black Friday price. I figured it’s returnable if it’s subpar, but looking at the pics and the reviews I think I’m going to like it.

That’s an awesome looking steering wheel I might have to change mine out at some point after your review.

I’m not crazy about the red band in the top but my truck is red so it’s not too out of place. I was looking for a thicker rim (having larger hands the this stock wheel is not my favorite). This certainly seems to fit the bill…we shall soon see.

Edit: I just looked at the listing again, I think they sold out of the 180.00 Black Friday allotment because the price is back up to 225.00. They only had one left when I posted the link to the thread, now it’s “in stock”.
Still a good price if the quality is there.

Damn that’s a nice looking wheel, and I see that there’s a heated steering wheel one! Is it possible to added a heated steering wheel to a truck that didn’t have it from factory?

"Autophoton" is CarTrimHome, vendor of various popular chineseium accessories. I don't have their steering wheel, but I'm using other eBay and Amz steering wheels in my Taco and 4Runner. They're holding up fine.

I’ve learned “made in China” doesn’t automatically mean it’s junk. Is that your truck pictured? Looks amazing with that upholstery.

Looks really nice. I’m always torn between the ease of wiping filth off my plastic SR wheel, and the look and feel of leather, which I always seem to ruin.

Yeah it's made in China or you'd be paying $1k for the steering wheel...

That's my 4Runner with Amz steering wheel, AliExpress head unit, KTJO4X4 seat covers, genuine Lexus IS-F shift knob which is made in China...

I ordered mine through Revesol, absolutely love these wheels. Thicker and better shape than OEM.

Revesol does sell a solid black version as well thanks to a group order put together on the Tundra forum.

I ordered the heated version from Amz, it says fits 4Runner and Tundra, but Cartrimhome says the Tacoma and 4Runner are the same. I'll take my chances, I have till Jan to return it if it doesn't fit.

^The steering wheels are mechanically interchangeable between '10-'24 4R and '12-'23 Taco. Hopefully the clock spring included with the heated kit is plug & play for you.

I'm trying to get a remote start, so I don't have to tear up the dash twice. N2's website blocked me based on my location, I guess they hate America. I may go with the Start-X kit.upload_2024-11-28_16-25-35.png

The clock springs are different from the 4Runner vs the Tacoma.

I used the Tacoma clock spring that came in kit with switch also. The clock spring will have an extra connector for heated steering wheel. Here’s a nice video explaining the Tacoma install

Ok, got it today and I will say for 180 bucks it’s one of the best upgrades I have done. Fits perfectly feels great, so much better than spending two days lacing up a cover that wouldn’t look as finished as this.
I’m not super thrilled with the red band at the top, it’s a bit distracting when the sun is shining through the windshield but I’ll adjust to it.
