Finally broke down and bought some 303 protectant, did the black factory flares, 2 coats and they look really good, and my new to me RRT has a soft type cover on it, similar to a box tanaue cover . Hopefully it will protect from the elements

Upgraded my OEM rear leaf springs to a Deaver Stage 1 pack, and the Shocks to Bilstein 5160s. Also added Durobumps and a flip kit. I hope to install my 6112s on Friday or Saturday, weather dependent. I got all this from HotShot Offroad, special thanks to Colton AKA @memario1214 for answering all my dumb question.

I also see you have the qi button.
Had no idea that had not been working since ‘18. Thought it was a new ‘22 or ‘23 thing that didn’t work.

Awesome! I had the same setup with Icons/Bilstein/Duro Bumps. I went with them set at stage 3 for my setup with the Alu-Cab canopy. I think you'll dig em. I feel like that setup made it feel more like a truck should feel. I feel that the OR OEM suspension was pretty soft. I mean, it was comfortable, but far too much nose-dive during braking and the rear springs felt a bit squishy. I got mine from Colton at HotShot Offroad as well. I wanted to shoot for a similar to factory stance. I feel it worked out well.

Happy Thanksgiving to all TW Taco owners out there. No mods today, just eat lots of stuff and maybe get a little drunk if ya can’t stand some of your relatives.

looks awesome!! I have been stocking those wheels online - so tempting before, but wow, looking good. You just cost me!

also - was looking at that grill - how's the light bar? on quality with say diode dynamics or Baja ? could one swap the light bar out with DD or BD if they like easily or with mod?

    great truck! happy thanksgiving!

The light bar is definitely not on par with Diode Dynamics but it's a simple mount so you could change it out for any other 20" lightbar. If I had to do it all over again, I would have just gotten the one that had TACOMA on the grill in that location instead. It was an impulse buy and at this point, the light bar in the grill is really just there to help add some contrast on snow covered trails back in the forest. I am going to add a high quality light bar to the roof rack that'll be there for more distance offroad.

The grey of the wheels don't fully match the truck, some days I wish I had gone with black wheels. Thank you for the compliments, 2 years of buying used parts on Bookface Marketplace have paid off.

I also added the Form Tail Lights, those are the most recent Mod.

IMG_3312.jpg IMG_3315.jpg IMG_3318.png Never been convinced by the idea of squirting $200 worth of stinky lamb juice onto my truck every year (Fluid Film, Woolwax, etc.). Krown undercoating seemed more logical but they also seem like a got-you-for-life-now-sucker situation. So I'm trying Corrosion-X, which seems to be a staple in the saltwater boating and aircraft worlds.

I used the hardcore green stuff on my frame, the medium duty orange stuff on control arms, CV axles, etc. and the light duty red stuff on parts that I tend to mess with routinely like suspension. Also treated lock latches, hinges, and spot treated rusty pulleys and parts with the red stuff.

will see how things go after this salty winter

    Got this from Cartrimhome

it’s legit and ended up growing on me. I have a Tesla as a daily and use the Tacoma as well yet after a few days so far this has grown on me.
