Hey gang. Its time. I have to do the knuckles axel shaft, and I think I'm going to rebuild the diffs as well while I have the axel off the truck.

I've never done this repair. I am wondering what known unknowns to expect. What "problem " is common that's been discussed at length. I've searched tacomaworld for info, found a little. Just curious if any 80s guy has the time to give me a few pointers on this.

I'm using this manual and YouTube.

    Thanks in advance

Bathe every nuts/bolt with plenty of PB Blaster for several days prior to starting.
Purchase all of the needed seals, bearings, grease, etc. before beginning.
    Follow the FSM.

    Cheers
