    Hi all,

    I'm new to this forum.
When I was checking the undercarriage I found a rusted cab corner which I removed the loose rust pieces but I'm wondering what would be the best way to fix this.
My truck received a new frame in 2017 and I fluid film each year since then.
I live in the rust belt...Montreal Canada
    I'm a beginner at welding.

    Thanks in advance!

Damn new frame 7 years ago and you fluid film every year, and the salt destroyed the new frame that fast?

What you are seeing is result of rust to the cab.
The frame is in perfect condition

is this the drain cavity spot right behind the front wheel where the leaves and other debris tends to accumulate behind that rubber flap in the door jamb behind the hinges?

It's right behind the driver side front wheel mudflap

Not a very good welder but since it's a place that we can't see I think it's ok.
I finished the job with All metal and POR15
