    Hello
Im about to establish a way of lowering my minitaco and was wondering about a second opinion

I was only concerned about getting the suspension done then working out power and trans

my goal is a lower, stiffer suspension for racing applications
To eliminate axel twist and wheel hop and keep the truck planted overall when i throw a scandinavian flick or spin the tires ect abuse

i wanted to swap the 95 5 lug leaf pack with the 95 4x4 leaf pack for a 2in drop and higher spring rate and i read that i may need shackles but they look the same to me

Next i want a 2” drop belltech coilspring matched with kyb monotech shock front and rear
This will give 2in front 2in rear drop

front and rear swaybars is a must

Okay now this is a big question i have! Is it worth it to spend 500$ on the rear active suspension kit for the leaf springs? To me it looks like it almost kind of works like a caltrac
If i find its worth it in stiffening the rear end end preventing wheels hop then I will eliminate a leaf from the 4x4 pack to hopefully gain near 2/3in drop and get the truck level and nice and stiff while avoiding lowering blocks or full coil over conversion although eventually planning custom tierods/knuckles for angle

i plan on matching that setup with some nice 16in American racing wheels 21in ish overall wheel diameter 5lug discbrake conversion in the rear wilwoods on all 4 corners and eliminate brake booster for willwood mastercylinder and probably add a handbrake lol

Right now shes just gutted with some bucket seats, short throw w59, and pcv, egr, cat delete. plan on doing tack weld mod on steering shaft next tho and i have wheels on standby

one day soon when i finish the suspension i will go through the motor and do a simple 5-10lb turbski setup exactly how tireside on yt did it that will be all i need for power and if she gives troubles i go 1uz with w55 lol

on a side note i should probably get injectors first i believe that is the problem in this stumble/miss i have when accelerating through 2/3k rpm under load. Its fine under no load or when above or below the 2/3k range under load. No codes.

my first post in taco world just curious on thoughts and opinions for the build plan. Thanks yall
