    New member, was prompted to fill this out. This forum seems to be a wealth of information. About 3 weeks ago I bought a 01 regular cab 4x4 5 speed tacoma just to drive to and from work. Mainly to keep miles off my other truck and to save on fuel. I drive 160 miles a day round trip so really a gas saver car would have been a more sensible option but iv always loved the tacomas and wanted something more useful than just a car. Since I been driving the tacoma iv had 4 instances where I almost hit a deer. So the first mod was an ARB bumper, winch then preventative maintenance, balljoints outer tierods. Looking forward to learning more about these trucks.
