I posted on street trucks a week ago to radio silence.

Looking to drop a few tire sizes and want a cheap and quick way to accommodate this, as I want to keep my 35s for special excursions.

The simplest option in my mind to not make this look stupid is to flip the leaf springs to under the axle instead of over. Has anyone done this on a 6 lug? Are kits available?

I'd imagine there's not much to it other than a bump stop solution and a perch...

This is common for desert guys to get more uptravel, but I don't think it's as straight forward as you want. It usually requires new leafs, hangers, and perches. I think Camburg has a kit, but you may want to ask in the long travel forums.

I appreciate the response, thanks. But I'm not understanding why it would need new leafs or hangers since the body doesn't "see" any geometry change

I'm speaking outside of my bounds of experience, but I think it's due to the lack of travel. For example, say at ride height you have 5" between the top of your leafs and bottom of your frame. You move a 3 inch axle tube and bump stops on top of the leafs and you now have 0 uptravel left. You also probably change your pinion angle moving the axle upwards assuming your springs stay in place. That would be solved with your new perches though. Hopefully someone else can chime in with a bit more knowledge.
