02 Ext Cab, replaced OEM door handle.
Ever since The fob and interior lock mechanism responds but seems like it catches on something. Hell, I’ve locked myself in and then fooled around till it unlocks.
So it tries but I must have screwed something up. When I try unlocking or locking outside manually, it binds?

Lights, wheels, tundra brake upgrades, elocker swap.
Sometimes the actuator does not have enough juice. 4Runners actually have a small RC motor that can be easily replaced at a fraction. The 1st gen Tacoma's are not so lucky on the other hand. You may actually need to purchase a used actuator from a junkyard or ebay. I was fortunate enough to purchase a used one on a pick-n-pull junkard at a fraction of the cost.
