I'm getting my "new to me" truck undercarriage dry ice blasted and coated with creep N crawl "cavity wax" later this week.

I haven't seen many reviews about this product by woolwax, yet.
If anyone has used it and has pictures and wants to share their opinion, please share.

I'll share pictures before and after once once I'm there

I don’t know about creep and crawl but I’ve used woolwax it stays on a lot better than fluid film. Fluid film washes off super easy woolwax you have to pretty much power wash it off

Yeh I heard the pros and cons regarding both, but leaning to the woolwax. The undercarriage servicers im using is very popular in my neighborhood for using the cavity wax. Looking forward to share the updates!

Here are my before and after pictures.
The guys at brick city restorations in long island did a great job.
First they dry ice blasted the surface rust away. Then they put rust stabilizers and encapsulators (I think from woolwax). Then they went over everything with the creep and crawl clear cavity wax.
They found an area on the frame that was rusted with a hole or crack of some sort, sprayed it, and told me about it. So gonna have someone repair it and then the undercoaters will touch up the spots that got repaired. Some good guys, they are.

The guys said the wax should get drier when it cures. So still waiting for it to cure. IMG_20241125_080405_657.jpg IMG_20241125_080414_033.jpg IMG_20241125_080409_253.jpg 20241124_225550.jpg IMG_20241125_080419_494.jpg

Looks nice. They did a good job. I decided to go with NHOU treatment for my brand-new '23 SR5. I don't think these coatings ever really dry....

I'll circle back in about 6 weeks. He said they should cure so I'm looking forward to seeing what that means.
So awesome you got your SR5 undercoated, definitely preserving your investment. Share pics if you have good lighting

Alas, I never thought to take pics...sorry. Its all dirty now, but looked real nice. It's been about 6 weeks, and the undercoating is tacky, but not runny like it was at first. I see oily patches creeping out of body joints, and that is a good thing. They guy that did it said to avoid power-washing the underside....although I think I'll do it next fall before I have it done again. It's a small investment for a $40,000 truck....

That dry ice blasting looks like it did wonders to the appearance of the rear axle housing!

My brother has a new-to-him 2018 GMC that has a fair bit of rust, maybe dry ice blasting might be something for him to look into....
