Here's a better pic if the 3 leaf add a leaf

The fronts are installed correctly and the stock coils are preloaded to give lift.

I dont know maybe I'm just too sensitive lol. But no my 1989 dodge ram d100 takes cracks in the road better than this truck. I need to check my tire pressure but doubt it's over 32psi

Anyway thanks for helping me better understand the lift. I may just take it back to stock but will be pissed if that doesn't change the ride significantly cause I do like the small lift

I do have a rim in the rear that is hard to balance out. Before I had the tires replaced it was causing vibration in steering wheel when in the front. And when I moved it to rear cause I real choppy bounce at a certain speed. Then I put new tires on but it still took a lot of weight to balance and is just Barley in balance and is on the driver rear now. So I know rim is imperfect in some way.

What tire pressure are you running? Should be around 30-32 for a soft ride. My Dads runs his tacoma tires at 40 and you can feel every bump.
You also have 7 leafs, I cant tell if you have a completely new leaf pack or they added some. 12-15 tacomas came with either 3 or 4 leafs (Most had 4).
I suspect you have some of stiff leafs or some sort of homemade leaf pack that was not designed for smooth ride in a a tacoma but for carrying a heavy load. Might be able to remove a couple and see if it helps your ride

I just edited my post and I am not sure if you read it.

Looks like they may have added 3 leafs to the top of your factory leaf pack, but I am not 100% sure.

Primo 95. It was done by a well known shop. It's a 3 leaf progressive add a leaf. It's the two skinny ones on bottom and the real thick and straight half inch one on very bottom I believe because the top 4 are painted black and have a shackle around them

Tires had 34 I dropped to 30 I bet that will help some for sure. I used to work at a tire shop. We were told to set most cars and light trucks to 35 but that's mainly so people don't come back with a tire light from pressure changes. Not ideal for ride quality. Spec on the tacoma is actually 29psi

On the shocks end, I did not like Bilstein 5100 rear shocks on an empty bed pickup on pavement. I felt every section crack and it drove me nuts. I put the stock ones back on and the crack ripples went away. So I switched to variable compression dampening fox. Now I can turn CD down on pavement and not feel the cracks.

Reducing tire pressure to 30 helped a lot. I just drove on some bad roads and it's way better. I may consider putting different shocks on the rear as well

I also do not ie tires over 30 psi
I don't inflate my tires over 30 for empty or light bed running. On the 5100 rears, I read alot of guys say firm, but ok with it. I have 5100s up front and I am happy with them.

@Jeremiahjohnson can you share with me a pic looking in your wheel well?

My "gut" here would be to say that it might be worth swapping the OEM spring for a lift spring. You can maintain the lift up front, and bring the spring rate down. That should definitely help with the ride profile feel.
