Idler pulleys

    Coil overs/ leaf mod
    I have an 03 Tacoma pickup. I need all the part numbers for replacing the idler pulleys. I bought the 3 belts but was told to replace the pulleys

    I bought aftermarket Gates pulleys. P/N 38031. Made in Canada. Worked well. Another option is to just replace the bearings in the pulleys. I did this on the ones that I removed so that they are ready for the next replacement. The sealed bearing you want is a NSK 6301 with double rubber seal.

    Yeah, replacing the pulleys is standard practice; however if they spin smoothly by hand and don't make any noise, you may be able to continue to use the old ones.
