33s come on the Trailhunter, right? So it's the largest "stock" size?

What kind of chains are we talking, too? Simple square link chains vs V bars makes a big difference in clearance, and possibly damage if they contact something.

Since these are going on MTs, I can't imagine OP is looking at any low profile chains.

Without doing some sort of offset or spacer I don’t think there’s any chance I could get a front chain on.

I can get vbar chains on the rear with 255 80 17s wild peaks.

My thin wire chains fit those tires and still rub on the front uca.

I have lived at 8,000’ feet in a ski town for 27 years, have ran KO2’s for 24 of those years. While I can appreciate the above, I have to say for me personally I have had great results with them in snow of various depths and types and decent usage out of them on ice. Sure, they are not dedicated snow tires, but do pass the traction laws here in Colorado once Winter sets in.

All this said, I do keep chains in the truck during Winter and I also have another vehicle with snow tires on them, either Blizzaks or Hakka’s.

I’m currently on the “list” for a Trailhunter, might run Geolanders on it but they have to support the load of my slide in camper.
