Been using Husky in my Tacomas for a couple of decades including my 2024. They’re good.

Is your sons Tacoma a hybrid?

I’ve had both. Prefer X-ACT but they both work just fine.

Husky Xact are what I have. I like the amount of coverage and fit.

I prefer the material that Husky uses…more pliable.

If you have a manual transmission, I believe Weathertech is your only option. I have had mine for 7 or 8 years now, and they still look great. Once and a while I pull them out and steam clean them at work and they look new again.

My Husky X Act have been great the last 8 or so years. Those Tuxmats look pretty slick though.

I have Husky floor mats in my 2013 Tundra 5.7L. I don't remember the model, just that these are "molded" to fit the Tundra perfectly, specially in snow country. What happens where I live at is that it is quite easy to drag snow and ice on my boots into the cab. The Husky ones have raised sides to avoid spilling water and melting snow on the cab's carpet, and also the floor has deep grooves. The smooth looking ones in the picture above would not work for me where I live, because they would get slippery if a thin layer of ice develops overnight (I park outdoors). I had the same problem with a set of WeatherTech in my wife's RAV4.

I used these to scrape my driveway in Ohio, to actually run on the road on ice (slower speeds, but still ...). Still put them in my glovebox even though I am in AZ because they are useful on ice: https://www.rei.com/product/760281/yaktrax-pro-traction-system

Yes. Those things are quite common over here. I carry a pair of them (another brand) in my truck.
