First time, long time, and all that good stuff.

Have had trouble finding my specific example online so figured it was time to make an account and ask.

I just recently upgrade from a 2016 SR5 to a 2019 TRD OR. On the SR5 I bought a Fisher HS plow to plow our long driveway. Moved that over to the TRD OR and the plow hangs much lower to the ground and scrapes now getting in and out of the driveway.

Looking for the best bang for my buck in getting the frame a couple more inches off the ground. Not doing any off roading but might get a camping trailer in the future.

Leveling kit sounds the easiest but how do I get the entire frame up 2 more inches? Would I do front and rear kits? Ive been told to stay away from Rough Country....any other recommendations?

    Thanks all!

Easiest answer is to get some Bilstein 5100s for the front with 650lb springs, set a little bit higher than stock. OEM springs are something like 590lb springs.

How often will the plow be installed? This will definitely impact your ride quality when you aren't carrying your plow. I have Bilsteins as well (6112s) with 650lb springs to help support my very heavy ARB bumper and winch. Rides fine loaded like this, but if I didn't have the extra weight it'd be rough.

I doubt you need to touch the rear if you aren't looking for any significant lift. But a new rear leaf pack that is a little heavier duty might be nice down the road if you started carrying weight in the bed more often, or start towing.

    Thank you for that answer!

Only plowing my own driveway so it won't be on much. I rarely drove the last one out of the neighborhood with the plow on.

Points me in a good direction to research more so appreciate it.
