Hey yall I need some help I’ve got 5100’s and OME coils in the front with the OME Leaf pack in the back and the front end is way lower than the back I was thinking of setting the height adjuster on the 5100 to a higher setting but I’m seeing plenty of people saying the 5100’s should be on the lowest setting if using and aftermarket coil. Anyone else experience this or know what I should do?

If it’s a recently installed suspension, the leaf spring will need some time to settle.

    I have a similar set-up in my single cab 4-cyl 4x4:

    Front strut: Bilstein 5100
Front springs: OME 881 (I have a steel bumper + winch)

    Rear shock: Bilstein 5100
Rear springs: OME Dakar CS018R "Medium Duty Standard Cab"

The spring pack I got was way over sprung for the weight of my set-up, I ended up removing a leaf from the pack and now it sits significantly better. It's settled a bit too, but it wasn't going to settle as much as removing a leaf. Plus now it's not oversprung.

The CS019R leaf packs for 95-97 tacos are well known to lift more than you may want.
Removing a leaf (or even two) is the easiest/free way to fix it.

I left mine as is, but I also have a camper shell and a heavy ass swingout bumper. Still sits like 1-2" higher in the rear. It rides great when fully loaded for a road trip though.

If you don't remove a leaf, make sure you're not overextending your shocks, I had to get much longer rear shocks than regular tacoma 5100s to stop the shocks acting as limit straps.

Could also look at different OME front springs to bring the front up a little, wont do much though. There's 3 options:
881: Standard Spring Rate, Standard Spring Length
882: Standard Spring Rate, Long Spring Length
883: High Spring Rate, Standard Spring Length

I went 883 because I'm a V6 4x4 ext cab with a steel bumper and winch (So heavy)
If you went 881, and are otherwise stock, you may gain more lift switching to an 882. If you went 881/882 and have a heavy truck build and heavy bumper, you may gain lift by switching to a stiffer spring with the 883.
