I hope I’m not repeating a new thread cause i feel like I’ve scoured the threads for related issues but haven’t quite found the same thing.

I recently installed a 3”-2” body lift to allow for 285/70/17. Plan on doing dobinson MRR real soon but needed tires faster so this is getting me through. From 0-55mph I have a vibration that is very audible and I can feel it in the wheel and floorboards. I’ve read about the ecgs bearing to replace the needle but when I shift into 4wd the vibration does not go away at all. I thought it might be my drive shaft angles but the vibration go away ENTIRELY when I take left turns. I’ve gotten a balance and alignment and my wheel bearings are good. The left turn thing makes me thing it could still be a bad needle bearing but everyone on here says if you have vibes in 4wd it’s not the issue.

If anyone has any ideas or has encountered similar issues speak up …I can live with it but would really prefer not to

    You meant suspension lift, right?

No I currently have a body lift in. I was planning to do tires and lift all at once but couldn’t make it work so I bought 285s and installed 1.5” spacers in the front gaining 3” of lift and 2” blocks in the rear to run until I get the whole new suspension setup

You seem to be confused (or were misinformed)...
That is a suspension lift. You lifted your suspension (using spacers/blocks).

A body lift is spacers (all of the same height, I might add) placed at each cab mount and under the bed at each location where it is bolted down to the frame, lifting the body & bed higher above the frame. It does not alter the suspension in any way (therefore cannot cause the vibration you describe).

    Now onto your issue...
Turns do not change the load on the needle bearing, so it's likely not that (plus you confirmed the vibe is still present in 4WD). I'd suggest check your wheel bearings again.

Did the lift blocks you put in the rear suspension have a built-in taper to correct the pinion angle? And did you install them with the wider end toward the rear? If 'no' to either one of those, then maybe that could be your problem. If 'yes' to both, then try lowering your driveshaft center carrier bearing bracket down a bit (maybe ½" or so).

Sometimes it is not possible to eliminate driveshaft vibrations entirely on these trucks (not without swapping to a one-piece driveshaft), but in most cases the vibration can be brought to a point where its hardly noticeable (at least to the non-OCD, anyway).

Definitely misinformed on that terminology but that makes sense. won’t make that mistake again. The rear blocks are tapered and angled down towards the front (double checked after reading some other threads) I will try the carrier bearing drop; do you suggest the OME kit or just use washers and okay with the thickness
    I appreciate your response

Many of the companies make a front carrier drop kit.

You certainly can use the OME kit, or you can just stack some washers & use longer bolts (honestly that's about all these kits are anyway is just some spacer shims and longer bolts).
Some experimentation may be needed with the amount of drop, but I would expect around ½", maybe ¾" to be about where the vibration is minimum.
