I hate the wheels, but it’s not as bad as it looks for the most part, gonna shoot for a decent rider restoration.

 

When I had the Tacoma in for its 18 month service they asked me about trading it in. I told them I would if they'd trade straight up my '19 for a '22 Pro. They said they couldn't. I just shrugged and walked away.

 

Reminds me of the time I walked into an empty showroom bc they were painting. Said to the salesperson Looks like you finally got what I can afford.

 

It's not that they can't. It's just that they won't. Big difference. And then after they do, they will be working somewhere else next week. I'm ok with that.

I remember the first car we bought married was my wife's 2017 Corolla. The finance guy very matter of fact told us he only leases cars because cars get very expensive to fix as they get older. I just thought man you'll be working here until you're 87 my guy. That's why I'm buying a new Toyota not a used BMW.

It’s all relative.. What could you get to live in for that? Up here, it’s entry level for something that’s not a hovel..

 

Wish I still had mine. Moved hand move irrigation pipes with it. Liked it more than the horse simply bc you can’t find a rock in an Alfalfa field but you sure can find a Snek.

A few years back, my wife worked in Charlotte. We couldn’t believe how low the prices were for real estate. This was before the pandemic and I haven’t checked recently.

That being said, I can’t see myself living anywhere that doesn’t have winter.

 

i'm impressed you were able to find a news article about the incident so fast. any time i try to find anything traffic incident related, i only end up finding things from 5-10 years ago...

I got the Jeep back together enough to get it out and the new to me van in.
It left a trail of power steering fluid.

 

This might be the problem.



It attaches to the steering rack.



...and somewhere on the passenger front.

Looks like a couple tires are in order too, the backs look like new - fronts not so much.

 

Anything would be better than 'nothing'

 

Memories! My cousins had a couple of those and used to rip them around in their backyard (this was literally a house in town on maybe a 6000 sq ft lot) before they moved and built a place on acreage. They sold them not long after that.
