2010 Windows keep coming out of tracks

    Window froze to top, um err tried too much and motor kept going - nursed it back in place. A few days later tried and discovered window did not in fact go back in clips properly and fell at angle.
    Tried adhesive in existing clip (2 different times but it’s happened again)

    What is proper process? Order new clips and glue on then install. I’m doing something wrong. Sell truck see how on go last in Thailand?

    It’s winter and I’m hangry over this. Plus it just happened to drivers side yesterday.

    3M makes a product called "channel adhesive" for this. I've not used it, but it's rare that 3M makes anything that's not the best. You'll need to clean out the old silicone, or whatever from the shoes, glass, follow the instructions....

    I changed my regulator a few years ago but can't recall how the shoes attached on the glass.

    Thank you. Mechanic friend had that, it’s $85 Cdn a tube on Amazon. Hopefully it holds!!!
