Avoid the gas station on Lake Pleasant Parkway and Carefree. It's like a full dollar more per gallon than that New River Shell! And it isn't a truck stop so I can't earn a few gallons of gas even if I wanted to

I'd gladly take the type of wacky that is Mormons over the type of wacky that is Californians.

If people do not make problems for me, I can live with it. But some groups just cannot help but make issues when they move in. :annoyed::notsure:

People actively trying to convert me(and others) to their religion is a big problem for me. Bigger than anything that comes out of California. You want to practice your own religion? Great. You want to spread your people all over the Earth trying to convert people? BIG PROBLEM

Thats an unfortunately small minded outlook. If you understood the grasp of religion worldwide you wouldn't care about what Californians are doing. Sadly most people in Arizona feel the same way as you because they cant see outside of their own existence. Religion is the worst thing that has ever happened to humanity, it spreads like wildfire around the world and only breeds discontent, fear, hate. All because people are too selfish to think they might cease to exist when they die.

Been a crazy 8 months getting moved up north and getting the house livable, turns out when you're a single guy moving a house is easy, moving the garage is a pain in the ass :p

Had to do my first oil change in the new place tonight. Figured I'd come flex the new garage a bit since I haven't been giving the taco or taco world any love in awhile. Sure beats crawling around on the ground

    IMG_1496.jpg

In other news, I still gotta rebuild this turd. Time to start doing some research and see how stupid I can get with it

Everyone’s crazy. I’d rather deal with crazy in a place where I’m not freezing my balls off when I start my truck in the morning tho.

I'll admit... Their religion ain't my cup of tea(quila) but neither are the Baptist or Jehova's or a bout 20 other religions. And my sister is an LDS so I know it pretty well. She's one of the really devout ones too. I've had a handful of Mormon Neighbors over the years. Let me tell you - they are the best neighbors you could ever ask for. They keep their stuff straight, their head on a swivel, and if things go south in your hood, they are the first people I'd team up with. And as a bonus - they don't drink up all your tequila.

At 88,000+ in on campus attendance at ASU (largest on campus attendance of any University in the WORLD) there are still enough traditionalists / party hearty crowd that you aren't going to run out of the old ASU any time soon.

I simply meant ASU went from being on the top 10 party school list, to trying to appear fancy and polished. For fucks sake they built a assisted living on Mill Ave. But I know what is buried beneath those high rise building and Tempe town lake.

Anyone running 5w20 in their 3rd gen? I'm creeping up on 100k and thinking about switching. From what I've read, the only reason Toyota says 0w20 in the US is due to EPA standards/regulations.

I made a thread about this very topic last week and the few people who responded said to continue using 0w20

Thinking that the wear on a 100k engine needs a thicker oil?
I'd think that 100k is "just getting broken in" for Toyota. Maybe make that change at 200k?
Or better yet - Do a Used Oil Analysis and see what your wear is looking like.

As a side note. "High Mileage" oil is advertising itself as 75,000 miles. LOL
I'm thinking 100k isn't even High Mileage any more. Especially on trucks that routinely go 200k to 300k if they don't have an accident.
If I have to start using High Mileage Oil after 75k, that means that it's really "just normal oil" for my vehicle because I would run regular oil for only 20% to 25% of my engine's life. We should start marketing regular oil as "New Engine Oil."
