    OK Showing my age here. How about McDonalds commercial where you get a hamburger, small fries and a small Coke AND get change back from your dollar!

    My grandmother sold Fuller Brush. I still have the carpet sweeper, lint remover, and the spatulas. Now that makes me older than dirt but not as old as rocks…

    Me and my buddies collecting bottles for cash, .02 cents each. The one drug store on our side of the “busy street “ wouldn’t take the beer bottles , underage.We would have to cross the busy street, without permission and take the beer bottles to a different store. All the bottles were refilled, not recycled, we would get excited when we came across a new bottle. We would spend our profits on penny candy, probably should have invested it instead, I’d be rich

    I'm only 29 but I remember MC Donalds used to have a Dollar menu. IDK if that's still around in some areas but there definitely was a dollar menu when I was a kid. Also multiplayer video games... when you'd ride your bike to your buddies house to play split screen!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Ooooh all of these are bringing back memories!!!

    When I was pregnant with Maxx, I was in preterm labor. I had previously scheduled a Tupperware party and the day of the party, I was cramping. The doctor told me to get to the ER.. The only person available was my stepdad so he came and hosted the party for me while I was at the hospital lol

    Buying nails at the hardware store by the pound, the owner went to our church. He would always throw in a couple extra nails to make sure. The smell of the hardware store, a mix of oil and sweeping compound and that squeaky floor

    Remember when mom and dad bought everything from Sears and Roebuck because they could afford it. Craftsman tools were the best with a lifetime guarantee, school shopping for new clothes. Almost everything in our house said ether Sears or Craftsman. I should stop, too far down memory lane :cool:
