That’s terrible news for clickbait artists on YouTube. Now they’re going to have to create another false narrative. Or maybe move on to Nissan, at least they’re an easier target.

I’ve sat back listened to real owners here, and my observation is that people who purchase them, like them, so no surprise. It’s a decent truck, and discounts go a long way towards correcting its main issue.

Im sure Toyota will build more and sell them all. I'm gussing there are that many more customers like with the Tundra. There was a chart on the GCBC site that showed US growth was down specifically with the Tacoma. I haven't had time to look for that chart, that was monday before the numbers got posted.

Tacoma growth could be down Toyota is competing against their own numbers, but sales continue to look good.

There is a glut of Tacomas at my medium-size dealer so they are being built faster than they are being sold. Good time to buy one for those inclined to do so. 5K off a 53K TRD-OR premium would be a good starting point for negotiation.

That's a good deal but XC 4x4s are not going to be discounted with 5k off. True there are currently more Tacomas on the lot than there are customers. I just rounded up my 2012 MSRP, when adjusted for inflation that came out to $30,360 2dr 4cyl automatic 4x4 Toyota Tacoma.

This also shows Toyota has a glut of inventory and not enough supply at the same time, I see some XC listed for over MSRP.

I saw that, I think some of the monies already inveted were included in that figure and Toyota is investing more at least that's how I read it. Toyota is definitely inesting more in Tacoma production and I expect sales to grow.

Yea they are 5K off locally BEFORE negotiating. The deals are bringing the prices closer to 23 levels.
