Plus side at least they learned about the beginnings. I remember some kids asking me about the ACS Rotor on my bike "where's the other cables?" haha...if you're not familiar just ask and I'll explain that reference.

So I got the Ross "trick Bike" out today.

Coaster brakes, hand brakes, axle pegs, small crank sprocket. Right out of the era.

Filled the tires , rode it around a bit, I'm too old an way to big.

let it set in front of the shop.

Wife and I were sitting in the front room after supper when a BANG! was heard
Wife was sure it was a gun fire report.

Nope, it was a twenty year old front tire and tube off an old stunt bike "letting go"!

Guess I'll need to pick up a replacement, the grandson is coming of age...

As an aside, what kind of tires are you thinking..like a dirt or a street tire? I definitely wouldn't ride on 20 yr old tires regardless but don't throw them away if they're original.

 

Finally put up some of the reissues I have...

This is funny.....so i was loading bikes on trunk rack in driveway before moving and another bike hanging on the wall did the same thing. BAM...wtf, and find bike moving on hook......did your tube blowing up also blow hole in tire? Mine did. Crazy, was only 40 lbs of pressure not 100......

 

OK, back towards topic......had to chk with new HOA to make sure this is approved method of postal correspondence retrieval......



I lied.....I'll ask for forgiveness if not......and chk mail after dark all sneakylike....dunno what rules are for senior citizens sk8boarding around the hood. Could be intimidating and unfair to those without balance, core strength or a board......2bad
